Refund Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
14-day money-back guarantee
We want you to feel confident trying Slova Pro. If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase — no questions asked.
The short version: First-time buyers get 14 days to try Pro risk-free. Email hello@slova.be to request a refund. Cancellation (stopping recurring billing) is separate and always available in your account.
What's eligible
You can request a full refund when:
- You're within 14 days of the date of your first Pro purchase (monthly or annual).
- You're requesting a refund for your own account.
- The purchase was made through our official checkout on slova.be or app.slova.be.
What's not eligible
We cannot issue a refund for:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the initial purchase.
- Subscription renewals (e.g. month 2 of a monthly plan, or year 2 of an annual plan). Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged again — see below.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- Charges disputed after the 14-day window, if the Service was accessible and functioning.
How to request a refund
Email hello@slova.be from the address on your Slova account with the subject line "Refund request". Please include:
- Your account email (if different from the sender).
- The approximate date of purchase.
- Optionally, a brief note on why — it helps us improve, but it's not required.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Cancellation vs. refund
These are two different things, and it helps to know which you want:
- Cancel stops future billing but keeps your access until the end of the current paid period. You can cancel anytime from your Profile page — no email needed.
- Refund returns the money from a recent charge. Available within 14 days of your first purchase, as described above.
If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and also want a refund, email us — cancellation alone does not trigger a refund.
EU consumer rights
If you're a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase of digital subscriptions, as set out in Directive 2011/83/EU. This policy meets or exceeds that requirement. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
